Fractal Curves on Banach Algebras
Most of the fractal functions studied so far run through numerical values. Usually they are supported on sets of real numbers or in a complex field. This paper is devoted to the construction of fractal curves with values in abstract settings such as Banach spaces and algebras, with minimal conditions and structures, transcending in this way the ...

Abstract Integrated dynamic scheduling (IDS) and economic nonlinear model predictive control (eNMPC) enable economic operation of chemical plants subject to volatile energy prices. Herein, we combine the two concepts into an integrated two‐layer scheme. Therein, IDS performs “long‐horizon” scheduling on a day‐ahead (DA) market and eNMPC “short‐horizon”

The SHARK integral generation and digestion system
The BLAS level 3‐driven SHARK integral generation and digestion library is introduced and it is discussed how it leads to greatly simplified workflows and substantial computational speedups. Abstract In this paper, the SHARK integral generation and digestion engine is described.

Curved differential graded algebras and corings [PDF]
A relationship between curved differential algebras and corings is established and explored. In particular it is shown that the category of semi-free curved differential graded algebras is equivalent to the category of corings with surjective counits. Under this equivalence, comodules over a coring correspond to integrable connections or quasi-cohesive

Braid monodromy and Alexander polynomials of real plane curves [PDF]
We describe symmetries of the braid monodromy decomposition for a class of plane curves defined over reals including the real curves with no real points and proving new divisibility relations for Alexander invariants of such curves.

Computations with algebraic curves
We present a variety of computational techniques dealing with algebraic curves both in the plane and in space. Our main results are polynomial time algorithms (1) to compute the genus of plane algebraic curves, (2) to compute the rational parametric equations for implicitly defined rational plane algebraic curves of arbitrary degree, (3) to compute ...

Abstract Although thermally coupled distillation (TCD) exhibits strong energy efficiency, the possibility of utility cost savings remains debatable. TCD designs that do not consider vapor transport can underestimate costs, making section rearrangement crucial to find more operable configurations.

A Shared Control Method of Multiobjective Motion Fusion for Surgical Robot
This paper proposes an innovative shared control method that can handle multiple objectives task by integrating various types of controllers. It not only takes into account the priorities among the objectives but also allows for the flexible addition or removal of objective controllers.

Piecewise linear differential systems with an algebraic line of separation
We study the number of limit cycles of planar piecewise linear differential systems separated by a branch of an algebraic curve. We show that for each $n\in\mathbb{N}$ there exist piecewise linear differential systems separated by an algebraic curve ...
