The mixed Hodge structure on the fundamental group of hyperelliptic curves and higher cycles
In this paper we give a geometrical interpretation of an extension of mixed Hodge structures (MHS) obtained from the canonical MHS on the group ring of the fundamental group of a hyperelliptic curve modulo the fourth power of its augmentation ideal.

Weil transfer of algebraic cycles [PDF]
AbstractLet LF be a finite separable field extension of degree n, X a smooth quasi-projective L-scheme, and R(X) the Weil transfer of X with respect to LF. The map Z R(Z) of the set of simple cycles Z ⊂ X extends in a natural way to a map Z(X) → Z(R(X)) on the whole group of algebraic cycles Z(X).

FreqD‐LBM simulates the oscillatory flow at the surface of a QCM‐D resonator in the presence of structured adsorbates. It derives shifts of frequency and bandwidth (equivalent to dissipation) on different overtones. Applications include rough surfaces, adsorbed rigid particles, adsorbed viscoelastic particles, spheres floating freely above the surface,

Multigrid Method for Solving Inverse Problems for Heat Equation
In this paper, the inverse problems for the boundary value and initial value in a heat equation are posed and solved. It is well known that those problems are ill posed.

Cycle/Cocycle Oblique Projections on Oriented Graphs [PDF]
It is well known that the edge vector space of an oriented graph can be decomposed in terms of cycles and cocycles (alias cuts, or bonds), and that a basis for the cycle and the cocycle spaces can be generated by adding and removing edges to an ...

Algebraic Multilevel Preconditioners for the Graph Laplacian Based on Matching in Graphs [PDF]
This paper presents estimates of the convergence rate and complexity of an algebraic multilevel preconditioner based on piecewise constant coarse vector spaces applied to the graph Laplacian.

Increasing half‐cycles intensifies turbulence due to enhanced vortex interactions and flow separation at the diverged‐outlets. Longer wavy ducts are shown to increase flow acceleration, resulting in greater output velocities and more turbulent‐kinetic‐energy production. Wave‐period plays a crucial role in determining turbulent intensity, with amplitude

Algebraic cycles on Jacobian varieties [PDF]
Let J be the Jacobian of a smooth curve C of genus g, and let A(J) be the ring of algebraic cycles modulo algebraic equivalence on J, tensored with Q. We study in this paper the smallest Q-vector subspace R of A(J) which contains C and is stable under the natural operations of A(J) : intersection and Pontryagin products, pull back and push down under ...
