On the Relationships between Different Methods for Degree Evaluation

open access: yesIACR Transactions on Symmetric Cryptology, 2021
In this paper, we compare several non-tight degree evaluation methods i.e., Boura and Canteaut’s formula, Carlet’s formula as well as Liu’s numeric mapping and division property proposed by Todo, and hope to find the best one from these methodsfor ...

On the algebraic invariant curves of plane polynomial differential systems

open access: yes, 2000
We consider a plane polynomial vector field $P(x,y)dx+Q(x,y)dy$ of degree $m>1$. To each algebraic invariant curve of such a field we associate a compact Riemann surface with the meromorphic differential $\omega=dx/P=dy/Q$. The asymptotic estimate of the

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

Two open problems about the liner structure of rotation symmetric Boolean functions

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2013
One open problem that the balanced rotation symmetric Boolean functions with degree n− 1 on even number of variables have no non-zero linear structure was proved.

Algebraic cycles of a fixed degree [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 2010
In this paper, the homotopy groups of Chow variety C p , d ( P n ) C_{p,d}(\mathbb {P}^n) of effective p p -cycles of degree d d are proved to be stable in the ...

A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

A route to understanding symbols in algebra: From real-life situations to symbolic language [PDF]

open access: yesNastava i Vaspitanje
In this paper, the authors present a learning framework for introducing letters as symbols for the unknown and variable in mathematics, a framework that is based on real-life situations, their modeling and translation into algebraic language.

Algebraic entropy and the space of initial values for discrete dynamical systems

open access: yes, 2001
A method to calculate the algebraic entropy of a mapping which can be lifted to an isomorphism of a suitable rational surfaces (the space of initial values) are presented. It is shown that the degree of the $n$th iterate of such a mapping is given by its

SOLUTION OF ALGEBRAIC EQUATIONS BY THE METHOD OF АITKEN-NIKIPORTS

open access: yesНаука. Инновации. Технологии, 2022
Presents analytical expressions representing all the roots of a random algebraic equation of the n-th degree through the ratio of the original equation. These formulas consist of two relations infnite Toeplitz determinants, diagonal elements of which are
