Differential Equations and Algebras

open access: yes, 2023
A number of results have been obtained in the field of differential equations, invariant processes, generating functions and Hilbert series, Lie algebras and graded algebras, orbit theory and stability of unperturbed motion according to Lyapunov. Among these results can be mentioned the algebraic solution of the problem of the center and the focus ...

Mechanoadaptation via Myosin Cytoplasmic Redistribution Protects Circulating Tumor Cells From Shear‐induced Death During Hematogenous Dissemination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates how CTCs survive varying shear stress during hematogenous metastasis. We uncover a self‐protection mechanism, by which non‐adherent CTCs adapt to high shearing milieu through accumulated cytoplasmic myosin‐mediated disruption of myosin‐actin binding, attenuating force transmission into chromatin to protect CTCs from shear ...

Distinct Biotypes of Visual Perception in Major Depressive Disorder

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In a discover dataset (272 acute MDD patients), this work identifies a novel depression biotype characterized by impaired visual motion perception, using machine learning clustering. An independent dataset confirms the robustness of this biotype through cross‐validation and demonstrates its generalizability.

Modeling and Verification of 1/f Noise Mechanisms in FAPbBr3 Single‐Crystal X‐Ray Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstratethat surface‐trap‐induced carrier number fluctuations are the dominantmechanism in FAPbBr3 Schottky devices, a conclusion supported by thedistinct defect profiles revealed by Drive‐Level Capacitance Profiling (DLCP). Throughnoise contribution decomposition, it is found that the 1/f noise of thedetector is the key noise source affecting ...

Sobolev gradients for differential algebraic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2008
Sobolev gradients and weighted Sobolev gradients have been used for the solution of a variety of ordinary as well as partial differential equations. In the article at hand we apply this method to linear and non-linear ordinary differential algebraic ...

Network algebraization and port relationship for power‐electronic‐dominated power systems

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation
In the classical differential‐algebraic equations (DAEs) framework for the traditional power system stability analysis, synchronous generators are depicted by differential equations and network by algebraic equations under the quasi‐steady‐state ...

Meromorphic Solutions of Some Algebraic Differential Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
By means of the normal family theory, we estimate the growth order of meromorphic solutions of some algebraic differential equations and improve the related results of Barsegian et al. (2002).

Low‐Power Control Of Resistance Switching Transitions in First‐Order Memristors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Joule losses are a serious concern in modern integrated circuit design. In this regard, minimizing the energy necessary for programming memristors should be handled with care. This manuscript presents an optimal control framework, allowing to derive energy‐efficient programming voltage protocols for resistance switching devices. Following this approach,

Synchronization of Analog Neuron Circuits With Digital Memristive Synapses: An Hybrid Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
An hybrid circuit mimicking neural units coupled using memristive synapses is introduced. The analog neurons provide flexibility and robustness, and the digital memristive coupling guarantees the full reconfigurability of the interconnection. The onset of a synchronized spiking behavior in two circuits mimicking the Izhikevich neuron is discussed from ...
