Denumerability of the Algebraic Numbers

open access: yesDavao Research Journal, 2000
An algebraic number is a real number that is a root of a polynomial equation anXn + an-1Xn-1…+a0 where ai are integers. In this paper, using the fact that a polynomial equation of degree n has at most n roots, together with some results, the ...

Global algebraic Poincaré–Bendixson annulus for the Rayleigh equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2023
We consider the Rayleigh equation $\ddot{x} + \lambda (\dot{x}^2/3-1)\dot{x} +x=0$ depending on the real parameter $\lambda$ and construct a Poincaré–Bendixson annulus $\mathcal{A}_\lambda$ in the phase plane containing the unique limit cycle $\Gamma_ ...

SOLUTION OF ALGEBRAIC EQUATIONS BY THE METHOD OF АITKEN-NIKIPORTS

open access: yesНаука. Инновации. Технологии, 2022
Presents analytical expressions representing all the roots of a random algebraic equation of the n-th degree through the ratio of the original equation. These formulas consist of two relations infnite Toeplitz determinants, diagonal elements of which are

Modified Extended Lie-Group Method for Hessenberg Differential Algebraic Equations with Index-3

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
Hessenberg differential algebraic equations (Hessenberg-DAEs) with a high index play a critical role in the modeling of mechanical systems and multibody dynamics.

An Adaptive Human Pilot Model With Reaction Time Delay for Enhanced Adaptive Control in Piloted Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Differential algebraic equations, indices, and integral algebraic equations

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 1989
In a recent report, Hairer, Lubich, and Roche [Report CH-1211, Dept. de Mathematiques, Universite de Geneve, Geneve, Switzerland, 1988] define the index of differential algebraic equations (DAEs) by considering the effect of perturbations of the equations on the solutions. This index, which will be called the perturbation index $p_i $, is one more than

On algebraic integrals of a differential equation

open access: yesDiscrete and Continuous Models and Applied Computational Science, 2019
We consider the problem of integrating a given differential equation in algebraic functions, which arose together with the integral calculus, but still is not completely resolved in finite form.

Electric‐Current‐Assisted Nucleation of Zero‐Field Hopfion Rings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports a novel and efficient nucleation protocol for 3D localized topological magnetic solitons‐hopfion rings in chiral magnets using pulsed electric currents. By using Lorentz transmission electron microscopy and topological analysis, we report characteristic features and extraordinary stability of hopfion rings in zero or inverted external

Problem for differential-algebraic equations with a significant loads

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
In this article, the problem for a differential-algebraic equation with a significant loads is studied. Unlike previously studied problems for differential equations with a significant loads, in the considered equation, there is a matrix in the left ...

Ultrafast Photocatalytic Wettability Switching in Substrate‐Interface Tailored Titanium Dioxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates ultrafast photocatalytic wettability switching in TiO2 thin films by tailoring substrate doping and interface oxides. Enhanced switching rates and hemiwicking effects are achieved through optimized material stacks and nanostructuring.
