General Extensions and Improvements of Algebraic Persistent Fault Analysis

open access: yesCryptography
Algebraic persistent fault analysis (APFA) combines algebraic analysis with persistent fault analysis, providing a novel approach for examining block cipher implementation security.

MONOID ACTIONS AND ULTRAFILTER METHODS IN RAMSEY THEORY

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2019
First, we prove a theorem on dynamics of actions of monoids by endomorphisms of semigroups. Second, we introduce algebraic structures suitable for formalizing infinitary Ramsey statements and prove a theorem that such statements are implied by the ...

Finite automata and algebraic extensions of function fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
On donne une description, dans le langage des automates finis, de la cloture algebrique du corps des fonctions rationnelles F q (t) sur un corps fini F q .

Stress‐Normalized Sensitivity as a Comparative Benchmark for Intrinsically Piezoresistive Nanocomposite Materials in Wearable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A stress‐normalised sensitivity metric (S = G/Y) is introduced as a materials‐level benchmark for intrinsically piezoresistive nanocomposites. By decoupling electromechanical response (G) from stiffness (Y), the framework enables direct comparison across diverse systems and clarifies design trade‐offs for wearable sensors.

Notes on Number Theory

open access: yesMathematics
This paper presents a set of survey-style notes linking core themes of pure algebra with central topics in algebraic and analytic number theory. We begin with finite extensions of Q and describe algebraic number fields through their realization as finite-

Underlying SUSY in a generalized Jaynes–Cummings model

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
We present a general qubit-boson interaction Hamiltonian that describes the Jaynes–Cummings model and its extensions as a single Hamiltonian class. Our model includes non-linear processes for both the free qubit and boson field as well as non-linear ...

Algebraic extension of normed algebras [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1956
in B. The classical method of field extension (forming the polynomial ring A [x] and reducing modulo the principal ideal J of 1.1) solves this problem. In this paper, we investigate the role of this process in topological rings. We study the problem of obtaining a normed linear algebra extension B containing a solution of 1.1, where A is a given normed

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

Application of the Neutrosophic Fuzzy Sets in Profession Determination [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
We present several operations, such as algebraic sum, algebraic product, and arithmetic mean, over the neutrosophic sets extended with moment in time and sketch numbers.

Coefficients of algebraic functions: formulae and asymptotics [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2013
This paper studies the coefficients of algebraic functions. First, we recall the too-little-known fact that these coefficients $f_n$ have a closed form. Then, we study their asymptotics, known to be of the type $f_n \sim C A^n n^{\alpha}$.
