Let \(G\) be a locally compact group, \(L^1(G)\) the convolution algebra of integrable functions and \(M(G)\) the convolution algebra of regular Borel measures on \(G\). Convolution with \(L^1\)-functions makes \(M(G)\) an \(L^1(G)\)-bimodule. It is a natural question of whether every continuous derivation from \(L^1(G)\) into \(M(G)\) is an inner ...

Group theory and the theory of relations are used to study the kinship of certain kinds of primitive societies. It will be shown that these societies partition their members into classes that are permuted by the relations “class X has fathers (mothers) in class Y” so as to form a regular permutation group.

Skew group algebras and their Yoneda algebras
Mathematical Journal of Okayama University, 2001The paper is almost self contained, some necessary statements are reviewed. The nature of the work is such that in some parts there are various isomorphisms and rings to deal with. The two principal theorems of the paper are the following: Theorem 13.

On Homomorphisms of Group Algebras
American Journal of Mathematics, 1960Introduction. There have been several papers written on the subject of determining all homomorphisms, and more particularly, isomorphisms of group algebras of locally compact abelian groups. Except in certain special cases there does not seem to be much known.
