The Algebraic Structure of Quantity Calculus [PDF]
The algebraic structure underlying the quantity calculus is defined axiomatically as an algebraic fiber bundle, that is, a base structure which is a free Abelian group together with fibers which are one dimensional vector spaces, all of them bound by ...

Some properties of finite generalized-groups [PDF]
In this article, we discuss the concept of completely simple-semigroups, which serves as a natural extension of the group structures. These semigroups, also known as generalized-groups, provide an interesting generalization beyond the realm of the ...

On the algebraic structure of Killing superalgebras [PDF]
We study the algebraic structure of the Killing superalgebra of a supersymmetric background of $11$-dimensional supergravity and show that it is isomorphic to a filtered deformation of a $\mathbb Z$-graded subalgebra of the Poincare superalgebra.

The structure of the algebra K[M] of the Chinese monoid M over a field K is studied. The minimal prime ideals are described. They are determined by certain homogeneous congruences on M and they are in a one to one correspondence with diagrams of certain special type. There are finitely many such ideals.

Efficient Enumeration of Higher Order Algebraic Structures
Algebraic structures are widely studied mathematical structures in abstract algebra. Enumerating higher order algebraic structures is a computationally intensive task due to large number of possible permutations and the presence of many symmetrically ...

Algebraic structure of Robinson–Trautman and Kundt geometries in arbitrary dimension [PDF]
We investigate the Weyl tensor algebraic structure of a fully general family of D-dimensional geometries that admit a non-twisting and shear-free null vector field k ?> .

Gauged double field theory as an L ∞ algebra
L ∞ algebras describe the underlying algebraic structure of many consistent classical field theories. In this work we analyze the algebraic structure of Gauged Double Field Theory in the generalized flux formalism. The symmetry transformations consist of

Program Induction by Rationale Generation: Learning to Solve and Explain Algebraic Word Problems [PDF]
Solving algebraic word problems requires executing a series of arithmetic operations—a program—to obtain a final answer. However, since programs can be arbitrarily complicated, inducing them directly from question-answer pairs is a formidable challenge ...

Comparison Between Algebraic Cryptanalysis on DES and NTRU
Algebraic cryptanalysis is a cryptanalysis method that aims to exploit the algebraic structure of an encryption algorithm to obtain the secret key. Algebraic cryptanalysis becomes interesting because it uses a small amount of known plaintext, which in ...
