THE HALL ALGEBRAS OF SURFACES I [PDF]
We study the derived Hall algebra of the partially wrapped Fukaya category of a surface. We give an explicit description of the Hall algebra for the disk with$m$marked intervals and we give a conjectural description of the Hall algebras of all surfaces with enough marked intervals. Then we use a functoriality result to show that a graded version of the

Quartic surfaces, their bitangents and rational points [PDF]
Let X be a smooth quartic surface not containing lines, defined over a number field K. We prove that there are only finitely many bitangents to X which are defined over K.

Differentials of the 2nd kind on a product surface
This paper deals with the problems of representing an arbitrary double differential of the second kind, defined on a surface which is the topological product of two curves, in terms of the products of simple differentials of the second kind on the two ...

Isomorphism of Compactifications of Vector Bundles Moduli: Nonreduced Moduli
We continue the study of the compactification of the moduli scheme for Gieseker-semistable vector bundles on a nonsingular irreducible projective algebraic surface S with polarization L, by locally free sheaves.

Algebraic expressions for estimating the impact depths of a surface barrier over a homogeneous soil
Engineered surface barriers are used to isolate subsurface contaminants for effective long‐term containment of waste of a variety of types. The impact depths of a surface barrier are affected by the pre‐barrier recharge rate and the properties of the ...

Loops, Surfaces and Grassmann Representation in Two- and Three-Dimensional Ising Models [PDF]
Starting from the known representation of the partition function of the 2- and 3-D Ising models as an integral over Grassmann variables, we perform a hopping expansion of the corresponding Pfaffian.

Fractional calculus is widely used in engineering fields. In complex mechanical systems, multi-body dynamics can be modelled by fractional differential-algebraic equations when considering the fractional constitutive relations of some materials.

Moduli Spaces of Higher Spin Klein Surfaces [PDF]
We study the connected components of the space of higher spin bundles on hyperbolic Klein surfaces. A Klein surface is a generalisation of a Riemann surface to the case of non-orientable surfaces or surfaces with boundary.

On the determination of shifting operators along geodesics on a surface [PDF]
A procedure to obtain a closed form of the shifting operators along a known geodesic line on a surface as a solution of a system of linear algebraic equations is proposed.
