Direct methods of solving systems of linear algebraic ef ions with complex a-matrices
Cybernetics and Systems Analysis, 2000The paper deals with the solution of complex linear systems \(A(\lambda)X(\lambda)=B(\lambda)\) where \(B(\lambda)\) is a polynomial vector and \(A(\lambda)\) a trigonometric matrix polynomial. The paper discusses several (non-orthogonal) direct methods for the solution of linear systems which are adapted to the polynomial situation and backward ...

Future generations computer systems, 2017
This paper investigates the model matching problem of input/output asynchronous sequential machines (ASMs) based on the semi-tensor product (STP) of matrices. The controller of the model matching problem is separated to an observer B and a control unit F

The package processing of systems of linear algebraic equations with sparse matrices
USSR Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, 1978Abstract A DESCRIPTION is given of the structure of the package SPARSE for the solution of systems of linear algebraic equations arising from the integration of systems of ordinary differential equations. Reliability and efficiency of the work of the package is attained because of the choice of a corresponding system organization, based on the ideas ...

Invertibility of matrices over ordered algebraic systems
Siberian Mathematical Journal, 1998\textit{L. A. Skornyakov} [Sib. Mat. Zh. 27, No. 2(156), 182-185 (1986; Zbl 0595.15003)] gave a description of invertible matrices over distributive lattices. The author generalizes it to the case of ordered algebraic systems (of ordered groupoids with an upper semilattice structure on them). The systems were considered by \textit{T. S. Blyth} [J. Lond.

Closed form integration of element stiffness matrices using a computer algebra system
Computers & Structures, 1995Abstract A symbolic algebra package, Mathematica is used to investigate the analytical integration of the mixed finite element stiffness matrices. Two mixed finite elements of the Hellinger-Reissner type are examined in this study; the computing effort in the generation of the stiffness matrices with an analytical integration process is reduced ...

Random Operators and Stochastic Equations, 1993
Summary: Existence problems of linear algebra are discussed. With the help of the methods of \(G\)-analysis new assertions for the solutions of linear systems with random coefficients are obtained. The new class of \(G\)-estimates of the solutions for systems of linear algebraic equations with random coefficients, when the regularization matrices are ...

Solution of Systems of Linear Algebraic Equations with Two-Dimensional λ-Matrices
Cybernetics and Systems Analysis, 2001A finite-difference approach to the solution of systems of linear algebraic equations with two-dimensional λ-matrices of a special form is considered. Recursive relations are obtained for computing the elements of an arbitrary row of the matrix of a given system, and formulas are proposed for determination of solutions of the system.

Conditionality of Linear Systems of Equation and Matrices Using Projective Geometric Algebra
2020Linear systems of equations and their reliable solution is a key part of nearly all computational systems and in a solution of many engineering problems. Mostly, the estimation of the matrix conditionality is used for an assessment of the solvability of linear systems, which are important for interpolation, approximation, and solution of partial ...

Summary: The properties of a mathematical programming problem that arises in finding a stable (in the sense of Tikhonov) solution to a system of linear algebraic equations with an approximately given augmented coefficient matrix are examined. Conditions are obtained that determine whether this problem can be reduced to the minimization of a smoothing ...
