Ultra‐Improved Interfacial Strength Between Metallic Surface and Polyurethane via Cost‐Effective Anodizing Process

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
SAA significantly enhanced Al/PU bonding, increasing SLSS by up to 920% and fracture energy by 15 100% through optimized micro‐nano porous surfaces. RSM identified the optimal anodizing conditions, while ML confirmed sulfuric acid concentration and roughness as dominant predictors of strength.

Optimal Auctions vs. Anonymous Pricing

open access: yes, 2015
For selling a single item to agents with independent but non-identically distributed values, the revenue optimal auction is complex. With respect to it, Hartline and Roughgarden (2009) showed that the approximation factor of the second-price auction with

On the stability of generalized second price auctions with budgets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The Generalized Second Price (GSP) auction used typically to model sponsored search auctions does not include the notion of budget constraints, which is present in practice. Motivated by this, we introduce the different variants of GSP auctions that take

Ultra‐Durable Information‐Encoded Anti‐Counterfeiting Self‐Assembled Nanocrystal Labels

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Ultra‐durable cost‐effective information‐encoded anti‐counterfeiting labels are fabricated to secure semiconductor chips. A novel method is used to self‐assemble colloidal quantum wells (CQWs) into color bars. Information can be encoded spatially, spectrally, and opto‐spatially.

ChicGrasp: Imitation‐Learning‐Based Customized Dual‐Jaw Gripper Control for Manipulation of Delicate, Irregular Bio‐Products

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...
