Fast Thermoelectric Responses from Unconventional Na‐I Stoichiometry in Reduced Graphene Oxide Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By coating the graphene oxide suspension and the dilute NaI solution layer‐by‐layer from bottom up, this work achieves a heterogeneous structure from asymmetry of the up and bottom surface Na and I atomic ratios in reduced graphene oxide (rGO) films, which exhibits fast thermoelectric responses.

Nanodiamond Regulated Electrolyte Enhances Thermal, Chemical and Structural Properties for Highly Reversible Zn Metal Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanodiamond additives are dispersed in the aqueous electrolyte to organize water molecules, suppress gas evolution and metal corrosion, and guide zinc to deposit more uniformly. Together with enhanced thermal conductivity for fast heat removal, this strategy reduces temperature rise and degradation, enabling safer, more durable rechargeable zinc metal ...

Inside the Microreactor: In Situ Real‐Time Observation of Vapor–Liquid–Solid Growth of Monolayer TMDCs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In situ observation of VLS growth in a confined microreactor reveals various growth modes of monolayer TMDCs, including abnormal ribbon growth and particle‐driven growth. The confined space and precursor balance influence droplet behavior and growth dynamics, offering new insights into the controlled synthesis of TMDCs via the VLS mechanism.

Metastable π‐Lithium Supermolecule Entities Govern Voltage in Electron‐Rich Electrolytes: Orbital Energetics as Predictive Voltage Descriptors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Solvated electron supermolecules (SMEs) formed by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH), Li⁺, and tetrahydrofuranmodulate voltage in lithium solutions. The open‐circuit‐voltage (OCV) of such solutions correlates with the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy of PAH, enabling high‐throughput screening for high‐voltage electrolytes.

Hydrogel‐Coated Foam Evaporator Achieving Four‐In‐One Benefits for Efficient and Stable Solar‐Driven Water Purification

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a universal strategy for foam‐based solar evaporators, leveraging the unique advantages of hydrogel materials to effectively reduce evaporation enthalpy. At the same time, it addresses challenges such as the need for pore formation in hydrogels, water‐induced swelling, and the detachment of photothermal materials, achieving “four ...
