The 579.8 ± 2.2 Ma (40Ar-39Ar, muscovite) Georgeville Pluton in mainland Nova Scotia is an epizonal body consisting of alkali feldspar granite and related pegmatite. The pluton intrudes the ca. 619-608 Ma arc-related rocks of the Georgeville Group, which comprises part of West Avalonia, the largest terrane in the Canadian Appalachians.

Our study of fluid and melt inclusions in quartz and feldspar from granite pegmatite from the Precambrian Ronne granite, Bornholm Island, Denmark revealed extremely alkali bicarbonate- and carbonate-rich inclusions. The solid phases (daughter crystals) are mainly nahcolite [NaHCO3], zabuyelite [Li2CO3], and in rare cases potash [K2CO3] in addition to ...

Selečka Mountain was thoroughly investigated in the past mostly because of the interesting mineral paragenesis presented in granites, gneisses, amphibolites, different schists and pegmatite bodies. In the valley Smilevski Dol, around 3 km SW from the village of Dunje (Mariovo plateau), in the vicinity of small spring Šohlehov Kladenec hydrothermal ...

According to the literature, the pegmatites of Madeira granite, located in the mining district of Pitinga (Amazonas, Brazil), belong to the albite granite facies. Previous studies have proposed that these pegmatitic bodies are associated with N320/60SW oriented faults and are rich in rare earth elements (REE). Due to this, the characterization of these
