Graphite salts with perfluoroalkanesulfonic acids and alkanesulfonic acids

Synthetic Metals, 1988
Abstract Electrochemical intercalation of perfluoralkanesulfonic acids (number of carbon atoms: n = 4,6,8), alkanesulfonic acids (n = 1−5;), and alkylsulfuric acids (n = 1−5) has been studied. Whereas two stage 2 and two stage 1 phases, differing in their interlayer spacings, were observed with C 4 F 9 SO 3 H, only one phase with a bilayer structure ...

Structure and doping level of the self-acid-doped conjugated conducting polymers: poly[n-(3'-thienyl)alkanesulfonic acids]

Macromolecules, 1993
Abstract Poly[n-(3′-thienyl)alkanesulfonic acid] is already self-doped without applying any electric potential. Such doping is different from that introduced by electrochemical doping of this polymer acid or its salt, and is termed ‘self-acid-doping’ in this work.
