Alkoxides and Double Alkoxides of Zinc
Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, 1969AbstractZinc methoxide and isopropoxide were prepared by the reaction of zinc chloride with the appropriate lithium alkoxide and a few other alkoxides, Zn(OR)2 (where R = Et, Bun, But and C8H17n) have been synthesized by the alcoholysis of methoxide. All these alkoxides are non‐volatile and insoluble in alcohols and other organic solvents.

Controlled Polymerization of Ethyl Glyoxylate Using Alkyllithium and Alkoxide Initiators
Macromolecules, 2018The synthesis of poly(ethyl glyoxylate)s (PEtGs) by anionic polymerization was explored. PEtGs are a subclass of stimulus-responsive self-immolative polymers with promising properties for applications as coatings, sensors, and drug delivery vehicles.

Copper (II) alkoxides and alkoxide-halides
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1965Abstract Copper (II) methoxide, chloride methoxide, chloride ethoxide and what is probably the impure ethoxide have been prepared and magnetic moments, visible and infrared spectra and some solubilities have been studied. Evidence suggests the materials are highly polymeric and that copper atoms are in tetragonal environments.

Oximate-substituted zirconium alkoxides
Dalton Transactions, 2011The reaction of acetoxime, ethyl methyl ketoxime or cyclohexanone oxime with zirconium iso-propoxide gave dimeric alkoxo oximate derivatives [Zr(OiPr)(oximate)₃]₂. The oximate ligands are side-on coordinated and the alkoxo groups bridge the two metal centres. NMR spectroscopy revealed dynamic behaviour of the compounds in solution.

Lanthanide alkoxides—II. Heterobimetallic alkoxides containing divalent lanthanides
Polyhedron, 1992Abstract Treatment of LnI 2 with K[Al(OPr i ) 4 ] in THF solution (molar ratio 1: 2) yields the air-sensitive heterobimetallic alkoxides Ln II [Al 3 (OPr i ) 11 ] [Ln = Sm ( 1 ), Yb ( 2 )].

Synthesis of Mg Alkoxide Nanowires from Mg Alkoxide Nanoparticles upon Ligand Exchange
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2022We report on a new synthesis pathway for Mg n-propoxide nanowires (NWs) from Mg ethoxide nanoparticles using a simple alkoxy ligand exchange reaction followed by condensation polymerization in n-propanol. In order to uncover the morphology-structure correlation in the metal alkoxide family, we employed a powerful range of state-of-the-art ...

Zirconium Alkoxides in Catalysis
Chemistry - A European Journal, 2001This paper presents recent advances in the reactions catalyzed by zirconium alkoxide. Catalytic asymmetric reactions with chiral zirconium catalysts and redox reactions are first discussed. The diverse characteristics of zirconium alkoxides as Lewis acids, Brönsted bases, and nucleophiles, are key for promoting these unique reactions.

Alkoxides of vanadium. III. Halide‐alkoxides of Vanadium (V)
Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, 1964AbstractChloride and bromide derivatives of vanadyl trialkoxides have been prepared by the reaction of acetyl chloride and acetyl bromide respectively with the alkoxides. Reactions of ethanol on vanadyl trichloride have also been studied.
