All-dielectric bianisotropic metasurfaces
2017 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2017The realization of bianisotropic responses with all-dielectric metasurfaces is investigated, and a systematic design approach is developed. It is shown that by cascading anisotropic dielectric layers (subwavelength gratings) one can achieve bianisotropic responses.

Multifunctional All-Dielectric Metasurfaces
2018 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2018Cascaded dielectric metasurfaces that provide distinct polarization conversion/control at different bands are introduced. A step-by-step design approach is presented to realize a wide range of polarization transformations with metasurfaces employing simple geometries.

All-dielectric magneto-photonic metasurfaces
Journal of Applied Physics, 2022All-dielectric metasurfaces have been attracting much attention. Low optical losses and a huge variety of optical modes provide unique possibilities for light manipulation at the nanoscale. Recent studies showed that the magneto-optical effects in such metasurfaces are enormously enhanced.

Homogenization of All-Dielectric Metasurfaces: Theory and Applications
2019 Thirteenth International Congress on Artificial Materials for Novel Wave Phenomena (Metamaterials), 2019In this contribution, we describe a simple and powerful analytical approach to homogenize all-dielectric metasurfaces. The proposed model is based on a combination of the Mie scattering theory of the individual scatterer with a bi-dimensional homogenization approach accounting for the interaction between the electric and magnetic dipoles excited by the

Electrical tuning of all dielectric metasurfaces
2016 10th International Congress on Advanced Electromagnetic Materials in Microwaves and Optics (METAMATERIALS), 2016We demonstrate experimentally electrical tuning of dielectric metasurface, consisting of silicon disks infiltrated with nematic liquid crystals. In particular, we show that by switching a control voltage on and off we can achieve 100% amplitude modulation and approximately π phase shift.

All-Dielectric Metasurface Focusing Lens
CLEO: 2014 Postdeadline Paper Digest, 2014Dielectric metamaterial layers are lossless, and exhibit relatively high transmission efficiencies (contrary to plasmonic metasurfaces). Subwavelength dielectric lenses have been developed - demonstrating beam area contraction ratio of three, and insertion losses of 11%.

Optical Nonlinearities in All-Dielectric Metasurfaces
2018 International Conference on Optical MEMS and Nanophotonics (OMN), 2018Subwavelength all-dielectric metasurfaces are well-known to support strongly localized Mie-type modes. In this work we show our results on nonlinear optical frequency mixing enhanced by magnetic and electric dipole modes in GaAs metasurfaces. By pumping the semiconductor metasurface with two 45-fs laser pulses, we were able to generate eleven new ...

Harmonic generation in all-dielectric metasurfaces
2023Nonlinear light generation is a key phenomenon in many optical systems. Recently, the field of nonlinear optics has moved to the miniaturization of conventional bulky components. Among all the new platforms that have been proposed, dielectric nanoscale resonators represent excellent candidates for light generation and manipulation.

Reflection compensation with all-dielectric metasurfaces
2017 IEEE International Conference on Microwaves, Antennas, Communications and Electronic Systems (COMCAS), 2017We present the theoretical results on reflection compensation with all-dielectric metasurface coatings. We utilise the ability of directional scattering by all-dielectric nanostructures to engineer the antireflective system based on an array of silicon nanospheres.
