All-solid-state UV dye laser pumped by XeCl laser
Optical Materials, 1999Abstract The dye-doped silica slab was fabricated by the sol–gel method. Under transverse pumping by a XeCl laser, narrow (3 nm) laser oscillator from Exalite 376 (E376)-doped silica slab was achieved in an echelle resonator cavity. The laser output efficiency of the silica slab can be up to 4%.

Low-threshold, cw, all-solid-state Ti:Al_2O_3 laser
Optics Letters, 1991A cw Ti:A1(2)O(3) ring laser with a threshold power of 119 mW is demonstrated. It provides a tunable source of single-frequency, diffraction-limited radiation that is suitable for injection seeding. The Ti:A1(2)O(3) laser is operated with a diode-laser-pumped, frequency-doubled, Nd:YAG laser as the sole pump source.

Efficient all-solid-state deep ultraviolet laser source

No.01TH8557), 2002Stable watt level operation in the UV is achieved from a laser-diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser by fourth-harmonic generation in an external cavity. Over I A watt at 266 nm in a TEM/sub 00/ beam was obtained, and long term stability better than 99% (>1 hr).280 mW at 213 nm were also obtained from 830 mW at 266 nm.

All-solid-state gain-switched Cr4+:forsterite laser
Optics Communications, 1996Abstract We developed an all-solid-state Cr4+:forsterite laser pumped by a kHz Q-switched diode-pumped Nd:YAG oscillator. The laser is tunable from 1190 to 1310 nm, and generates pulses with duration ≈ 70–100 ns and maximum energy ≈ 14 μJ at 1230 nm, corresponding to a pumping efficiency ≈ 10%.
