Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

A Sequential Decomposition Method for Estimating Flow in a Multi-Commodity, Multistate Network [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The weighted multi-commodity multistate unreliable network (WMMUN) is an extension of the multistate network. It is a new network composed of multistate unreliable components (such as arcs and nodes) with various weight capacities which is able to ...

From energy provision to protein synthesis: Tunnelling nanotubes as mediators of intercellular metabolic cooperation in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

TERMINAL-PAIR RELIABILITY OF NETWORK SYSTEM USING FLOW AUGMENTING PATH SEARCH ALGORITHM [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
This paper considers a network reliability problem as a special type of flow problem and presents an algorithm to evaluate the exact 2-terminal reliability of networks on the basis of the factoring theorem and a backtracking technique.

SPG4 and Dementia: Expanding the Clinical Spectrum

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a group of disorders characterized by progressive spasticity and lower limb weakness, with mutations in SPG4/SPAST being the most common cause. Detailed studies and clinical and molecular comparisons across different populations are missing.

Estimation of all-terminal network reliability using press forward GA with stochastic selection method

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT), 2021
Network reliability is an important measure of how well the network meets its design aim and mathematically is the probability that a network will perform communication efficiently for at least a given period of time. The reliability analysis is used for determining the probability of correct functioning of a system in terrain conditions.

High‐Resolution MRI Revealed Different Etiology‐Specific Associations With Cerebral Infarction in Adult Moyamoya Vasculopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.

Reliability Analysis of Emergency Message Broadcast at an Intersection in 2-D VANET

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2014
Reliability is an important issue for emergency message broadcast services in vehicular Ad Hoc network (VANET). Most investigations of such broadcast in VANET focus on multi-hop connectivity, taking all one-hop links for granted.
