CONCENTRIC-ZONAL AGGREGATE OF REE MINERALS IN FELDSPAR PEGMATITE OF THE VISHNEVYE MOUNTAINS, SOUTH URALS [PDF]

open access: yesМинералогия, 2019
A concentric-zonal texture of mineral aggregate observed in alkali pegmatite of the Vishnevye Mountains was formed as a result of melt-fluid crystallization in a closed system.

RARE EARTH MINERALS IN ALKALINE AND SUBALKALINE ROCKS OF THE BALBUK COMPLEX (SOUTH URALS) [PDF]

open access: yesМинералогия, 2016
Mineral composition of alkaline and subalkaline rocks of the Balbuk complex (South Urals) is characterized. The major REE minerals are monazite-(Ce), allanite-(Ce), and rhabdophane-(Ce).

Rare earth elements and yttrium minerals in altered granite-porphyry and hosting high-alumina schists in the Pellapahk Cu-Mo occurrence (Kolmozero-Voronya Belt)

open access: yesVestnik MGTU
Rare Earth Elements (REE) and yttrium phosphates monazite-(Ce) and xenotime-(Y), fluorine carbonates synchysite-(Ce) and parisite-(Ce), silicate allanite-(Ce) have been studied in the metamorphic rocks in the area of the Pellapahk Cu-Mo porphyry ...

Geochemical implications for the magma origin of granitic rocks from the Ditrău Alkaline Massif (Eastern Carpathians, Romania)

open access: yesGeologia Croatica, 2015
In addition to a series of ultramafic to mafic and alkaline igneous rocks, a granite body also occurs in the Ditrău AlkalineMassif, Eastern Carpathians, Romania. We present and discuss mineral chemical data, and major and traceelement compositions of the

Progressively Fenitised Schist and Carbonatitic Clasts From a Metasomatic Aureole Beneath the Alkalic Dunedin Volcano, Otago, New Zealand

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics, Volume 69, Issue 2, June 2026.
Clasts of albite‐porphyroblastic quartzofeldspathic schist, derived from the Otago Schist basement, occur within the Port Chalmers Breccia, a diatreme at the centre of the Dunedin stratovolcano, New Zealand. Schists have undergone varying degrees of replacement reactions (at temperatures of 300° to >500°C) producing hornfelses, with Ca‐ and K‐enriched ...

Late Archean crust-mantle interactions: geochemistry of LREE-enriched mantle derived magmas. Example of the Closepet batholith, southern India [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The Closepet batholith in South India is generally considered as a typical crustal granite emplaced 2.5 Gyr ago and derived through partial melting of the surrounding Peninsular Gneisses (3.3-3.0 Gyr). In the field, it appears as a composite batholith

Identification of allanite (Ce, Ca, Y)2(Al, Fe3+)3(SiO4)3OH found in marble from Chillagoe, Queensland using Raman spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yesSpectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2015
Samples of marble from Chillagoe, North Queensland have been analyzed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and Raman spectroscopy. Chemical analyses provide evidence for the presence of minerals other than limestone and calcite in the marble, including silicate minerals.

Provenance and Petrological Evolution of Sand Injection Complexes: Insights From Heavy Mineral Analysis in the Paleogene Forearc Succession of the San Joaquin Basin

open access: yesBasin Research, Volume 38, Issue 3, May–June 2026.
The study of heavy mineral assemblages with statistical analysis resolves provenance signatures and quantifies syn‐emplacement modification of sand injection complexes. Results demonstrate transformative petrological processes, including density‐dependent hydraulic sorting and mechanical grain degradation.

Timing of Metamorphism and Deformation in the Neoarchean Quetico Metasedimentary Belt, Superior Craton, Constrained by Garnet Trace‐Element Mapping and Lu–Hf Geochronology

open access: yesJournal of Metamorphic Geology, Volume 44, Issue 4, Page 265-286, May 2026.
ABSTRACT The Quetico subprovince of the Superior Province is among the largest metasedimentary belts globally and provides evidence of tectonic processes at play during the final stages of Archean cratonization. Although previous studies have shown that deformation and metamorphism of the 2.7‐Ga turbiditic protolith resulted in regional subvertical ...
