Photocatalytic Degradation of PFOA with Porous Lanthanoid Perovskites Nano Catalyst
Chemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.Photocatalytic degradation of PFOA was studied using nickel‐ and lanthanide‐doped perovskites under UV–VIS irradiation. Catalyst characterization confirmed successful doping, with Ni/NdMnO3 showing the highest photocatalytic efficiency. Degradation occurred via C–C bond cleavage, forming transformation products PFHpA and PFHxA.

Materials and Corrosion, EarlyView.Ta‐Mo‐Cr‐Ti‐Al refractory high‐entropy alloys show atmosphere‐dependent oxidation performance based on Cr:Ti ratios. Cr‐rich compositions excel in dry oxygen through continuous chromia formation, while Ti‐rich alloys perform better in humid conditions due to reduced chromium volatilization and hydrogen uptake effects.
