Additive and Partially Dominant Effects from Genomic Variation Contribute to Rice Heterosis
Additive and partially dominant effects, namely at mid‐parent levels or values between mid‐parent and parental levels, respectively, are the predominant inheritance patterns of heterosis‐associated molecules. These two genetic effects contribute to heterosis of agronomic traits in both rice and maize, as well as biomass heterosis in Arabidopsis ...

Photonuclear Population of 229m,gTh in Th‐Doped Crystals Toward Nuclear Clock Development
This study demonstrates a novel photonuclear approach for producing the nuclear clock isomer 229mTh in thorium‐doped crystals, overcoming current supply limitations. Through cross‐section calculations and Monte Carlo simulations, we identify optimal crystal materials and irradiation conditions, achieving high signal‐to‐noise ratios.

La Constitución Española de 1812 en Goya
We present the allegory of the Spanish Constitution engraved in 1812, and subsequently imitated by Goya in his portrait of king Fernando VII, painted in 1814 for the Town Hall of Santander.

This work introduces a theragenerative 3D‐printed biodegradable stent with Janus nanoarchitecture for spatially controlled vascular healing. A luminal tantalum ion–implanted surface accelerates endothelialization and hemocompatibility, while an abluminal sirolimus/poly‐L‐lactic acid–tantalum layer provides sustained drug release and suppresses smooth ...

This work establishes a pipeline that transforms fragmented literature into a structured database for graphitic carbon nitride photocatalyst discovery. A prompt‐engineered, cross‐model large language model ensemble automates high‐fidelity extraction, enabling interpretable machine learning to identify dominant performance descriptors. These data‐driven

The Implications of Interactions for Science and Philosophy
Reductionism has dominated science and philosophy for centuries. Complexity has recently shown that interactions---which reductionism neglects---are relevant for understanding phenomena.

Ga doping drives simultaneous convergence of three valence bands and formation of a midgap band in Ge0.94Bi0.06Te, enhancing the Seebeck coefficient without sacrificing carrier mobility. Lattice vibration disorder and multi‐scale defect engineering suppress lattice thermal conductivity, delivering a ZT exceeding 2.1 and enabling efficient lead‐free ...

Notes Toward a Critical Contemplation of Law [PDF]
In this tribute to Professor Derrick Bell’s legacy, Professor Katyal reflects on one of Bell’s greatest gifts: the necessary, and perhaps unfinished gift of critical contemplation of law, along with its possibilities and its concomitant limitations.

Operando real‐time current density–voltage absorption spectroscopy visualizes spatial phase evolution in mixed‐halide perovskites from device to module scale. Phase instability preferentially initiates in regions with insufficient carrier extraction, revealing electrical boundary conditions as governing factors.
