UFMylation of NLRP3 Prevents Its Autophagic Degradation and Facilitates Inflammasome Activation
This article studies the role of UFMylation in NLRP3 inflammasome activation. It reveals that UFMylation, mediated by the E3 Ufm1‐ligase 1 (Ufl1), maintains NLRP3 stability by preventing its ubiquitination and subsequent autophagic degradation.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a prototypic autoimmune disease characterized by highly prevalent autoantibodies – anti‐citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA). A novel nanoHPLC‐MS approach based on the intact Fc/2 subunit identifies hitherto neglected Fc proteoform profiles of IgG (auto)antibodies across different biofluids. The findings demonstrate subclass‐

AAVR Expression is Essential for AAV Vector Transduction in Sensory Hair Cells
Decreased sensitivity to AAV vector transduction in the outer hair cells (OHCs) of adult mice is primarily attributed to reduction of AAVR (Kiaa0319l; Au040320). Knockout of AAVR reduces AAV vector transduction efficiency in both inner hair cells (IHCs) and OHCs in neonatal mice.

Wei et al. establish a hair cell‐specific conditional knockout mouse model (Atp6v1b2fl/fl;Atoh1Cre/+), and demonstrate the importance of Atp6v1b2 for hair cell through maintaining the survival of lysosomes. A single administration of AAV‐ie‐Eh3‐mAtp6v1b2 through scala media at P0‐P2 realizes function compensation and restores hearing and balance ...

This article demonstrates that maternal exercise or vitamin C supplementation during pregnancy enhance offspring muscle function by promoting mitochondrial biogenesis and oxidative fiber formation. This epigenetically driven improvement ultimately leads to higher endurance performance, strongly suggesting that sufficient maternal physical activity can ...

In EAE mice, TIA1 is translocated from the nucleus to the cytoplasm, facilitating SGs formation in neurons. TIA1 knockout in the central nervous system (CNS) of EAE mice yields a notable diminution in neuronal SGs, mitigates CNS inflammatory infiltration, and curtails axonal demyelination.

Pan‐Variant SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccines Induce Protective Immunity by Targeting Conserved Epitopes
An integrative approach identifies conserved B‐cell and T‐cell epitopes within SARS‐CoV‐2 proteins, redirecting immune responses from variable to conserved regions. These epitopes elicit robust humoral and cellular immunity, neutralizing diverse viral variants. Promiscuous T‐cell epitopes demonstrate cross‐species efficacy, highlighting their potential

Cutaneous T‐cell lymphomas: 2023 update on diagnosis, risk‐stratification, and management
Abstract Disease Overview Cutaneous T‐cell lymphomas are a heterogenous group of T‐cell neoplasms involving the skin, the majority of which may be classified as Mycosis Fungoides (MF) or Sézary Syndrome (SS). Diagnosis The diagnosis of MF or SS requires the integration of clinical and histopathologic data.

In intestinal epithelial cells, Gastrin/CCKBR stimulation prevents high glucose‐stimulated SGLT1 (SLC5A1) and GLUT2 (SLCA2) expressions, via the PI3K/AKT/eIF4B signaling pathway, with facilitatory effects on the secretion of incretins, which could be therapeutic targets for clinical treatment in T2D.
