Hepatic KLF9 Deficiency Inhibits Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)‐Induced Polycystic Ovary Syndrome via Liver‐Ovary Axis

The study shows that liver is a previously unrecognized extraovarian organ that plays a key role about androgen homeostasis in the development of DHEA‐induced PCOS. Allele‐Specific Regulation of PAXIP1‐AS1 by SMC3/CEBPB at rs112651172 in Psychiatric Disorders Drives Synaptic and Behavioral Dysfunctions in Mice

This study identifies a functional noncoding variant, rs112651172 (C/G), that drives allele‐specific expression of PAXIP1‐AS1 in monozygotic twin pairs discordant for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. The risk G allele enhances CEBPB binding, leading to lncRNA upregulation, CNTNAP3 derepression, and synaptic and behavioral deficits in mice.

cGAS Inhibits ALDH2 to Suppress Lipid Droplet Function and Regulate MASLD Progression

cGAS is a cytosolic DNA sensor known for innate immune defense. cGAS binds and suppresses ALDH2 are showed, limiting acetyl‐CoA production. cGAS loss activates ALDH2, promoting histone acetylation, lipogenesis, and lipid droplets accumulation. cGas‐/‐ mice on a high‐fat diet show signs of worsened MASLD.
