DualPG‐DTA: A Large Language Model‐Powered Graph Neural Network Framework for Enhanced Drug‐Target Affinity Prediction and Discovery of Novel CDK9 Inhibitors Exhibiting in Vivo Anti‐Leukemia Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces DualPG‐DTA, a framework integrating two pre‐trained models to generate molecular and protein representations. It constructs dual graphs processed by specialized neural networks with dynamic attention for feature fusion, achieving superior benchmark performance.

The Influence of Gravitational Gradients on the American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis)

open access: yesAnatomy & Physiology: Current Research, 2019
The cardiovascular systems of terrestrial and aquatic snakes cannot accommodate gravitational gradients, while blood flow in arboreal snakes is not disrupted by tilting.

ERM Inhibition Confers Ferroptosis Resistance through ROS‐Induced NRF2 Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ERM inhibition disrupts ERM‐actin interactions, elevating ROS and triggering KEAP1 degradation, which stabilizes and activates NRF2. Nuclear NRF2 induces cytoprotective genes, notably HMOX1, enhancing redox buffering and suppressing lipid peroxidation to resist erastin‐induced ferroptosis.

Fauna Associated with American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) Nests in Coastal South Carolina, USA

open access: yesAnimals
Crocodilians are considered to be “ecosystem engineers” because their modification of habitats provides opportunities for feeding, drinking, breeding, and other vital life activities to a wide variety of other animals.

Nest Attendance Patterns in the American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis)

open access: yesCopeia, 2018
The behavioral variation in alligator nest attendance has characterized the species as iconic in common lore and perplexed biologists for decades.

Spectral Decomposition of Chemical Semantics for Activity Cliffs‐Aware Molecular Property Prediction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PrismNet mimics chemical intuition by functioning as a computational prism, refracting molecular graphs into complementary semantic views and spectral frequencies. This dual‐decomposition strategy effectively captures both global topologies and subtle “activity cliff” perturbations.

Lithophagy Prolongs Voluntary Dives in American alligators (Alligator mississippiensis)

open access: yesIntegrative Organismal Biology, 2019
AbstractMany vertebrates ingest stones, but the function of this behavior is not fully understood. We tested the hypothesis that lithophagy increases the duration of voluntary dives in juvenile American alligators (Alligator mississippiensis). After ingestion of granite stones equivalent to 2.5% of body weight, the average duration of dives increased ...

Maximum heart rate does not limit cardiac output at rest or during exercise in the American alligator ( Alligator mississippiensis).

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Physiology. Regulatory Integrative and Comparative Physiology, 2018
In most vertebrates, increases in cardiac output result from increases in heart rate (fH) with little or no change in stroke volume (Vs), and maximum cardiac output (Q̇) is typically attained at or close to maximum fH.

EVALUATION PAVEMENT DISTRESSES USING PAVEMENT CONDITION INDEX [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Pavement deterioration is resulted by both environmental and structural causes. It is difficult to maintain the road on the same specification that was owned at the opening and problems start to appear represented in the pavement cracks, holes and ...
