SUMMARYIn the present paper the author reports about the new karyotype in Allium porrum L. cultivated in Czechoslovakia. Comparing this new karyotype with those ones, which were published by other authors, it appears, that the difference in karyotypes of the same species cultivated in various countries is a result of chromosome mutations.
