Allocative efficiency and the productivity slowdown
Abstract This paper evaluates the contribution of cross‐sector allocative efficiency to the productivity slowdown in the US during the 1970s and 2000s. We extend the framework of Oberfield (2013) to derive sufficient statistics for allocative efficiency and decompose aggregate productivity growth in a multisector economy.

Allocative Efficiency of Small-Holder Cocoyam Farmers in Anambra State, Nigeria [PDF]
This study employed a stochastic frontier translog cost and production functions to measure the level of allocative efficiency and it’s determinants in small-holder cocoyam production in Anambra state, Nigeria. A multi-stage random sampling technique was

Intertemporal Equity and Efficient Allocation of Resources [PDF]
In this paper is shown that competitive-paths which are efficient satisfy a terminal cost minimization condition in the sense of Malinvaud. Using this result, competitive paths which are equitable and efficient are shown to satisfy Hartwick's investment rule, which states that the value of net investment is zero at each date.

Kinetic Regimes of Hydrogen Absorption in Thin Films
Knowledge of the hydrogen incorporation mechanisms in thin layers in relation to the amount absorbed is essential to design coatings and devices compatible with hydrogen‐based technologies. A combination of simultaneous in situ methods gives detailed insight into the hydrogenation of a prototypical hydrogen absorber layer in a time‐dependent manner ...
