Auris Nasus Larynx, 1985
Since 1981, we have used the stapes allograft, singly or in combination with homograft incus, in 20 cases of tympanoplasty and in 7 cases of fixed stapes. All of the allograft stapes discussed were procured, processed and stored in 1980 by the Hyogo Ear Bank, the first to be established in Japan.

Allograft degeneration in infant pulmonary valve allograft recipients
European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, 1993Infants who have undergone pulmonary valve allograft reconstruction of their right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT), experience an increased incidence of allograft fibrocalcification and valvar insufficiency, compared to older children. Since 1985, 137 pediatric patients have received a cryopreserved pulmonary valve allograft to repair their RVOT.

Diabetes, 1987
The effect of allotransplantation of thyroid or islet allografts into rats with established islet allografts was studied to determine the cross-reactivity of the thyroid and islets in allograft rejection. Islets obtained from cultured neonatal rat (F344) pancreas explants were transplanted bilaterally underneath the kidney capsule of Wistar-Furth rats.

In the present material of 448 consecutive renal transplants the incidence of allograft rupture was 3.6%. Among 389 first transplants there were two ruptures in the living donor group (126 patients, 1.5%) and 12 ruptures in the cadaveric donor group (263 patients, 4.6%). Only one ruptured kidney (living donor) achieved long term function. Four patients

Meniscal Allograft Transplantation
Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, 2006Meniscal allograft transplantation is a reasonable treatment option for the young patient with symptomatic meniscal deficiency.
