Mappings on weakly Lindelöf and weakly regular-Lindel¨of spaces

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2011
In this paper we study the effect of mappings and some decompositions of continuity on weakly Lindelöf spaces and weakly regular-Lindelöf spaces. We show that some mappings preserve these topological properties.

Impact of Radiation Therapy on Physical and Psychosocial Health of Adolescents and Young Adults: A Joint Report From the Children's Oncology Group AYA and Radiation Oncology Committees

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rates of cancer among adolescents and young adults (AYA), age 15–39 years, are increasing. Consequently, radiation oncologists are treating more AYAs who have diagnoses spanning both pediatric and adult practices. Compared to pediatric and older adult patients, AYAs face a unique set of challenges.

Functions weaker than continuous functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1972
Many properties which are characteristic of continuous function remain valid for several classes of non-continuous functions if appropriate limitations are imposed.

New Type of Functions with Strongly Closed Graphs

open access: yesWasit Journal for Pure Sciences, 2023
In this paper, new type of functions with strongly closed graph called strongly semi-pre closed graph based on semi-pre closed sets. If the codomain of an almost semi pre continuous (or semi pre continuous or semi pre irresolute) function ????

Retrospective Analysis of Donor Lymphocyte Infusions in Pediatric Patients With Mixed Chimerism After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT) is an essential therapy for several malignant and nonmalignant diseases, but relapse and graft loss remain the principal threats to its success. Routine monitoring of chimerism and minimal residual disease (MRD) enables early detection of imminent recurrence and guides ...

Pediatric Idiopathic Multicentric Castleman Disease Is Often Severe But Responsive to Siltuximab

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD) is a potentially fatal immunologic disorder marked by widespread lymphadenopathy and inflammation. Siltuximab, an interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) inhibitor, is the only FDA‐approved treatment for adult patients with iMCD.

Maximums of Almost Continuous Functions

open access: yesReal Analysis Exchange, 2005
It is shown that each function which can be written as the maximum of two Darboux functions can be written as the maximum of two almost continuous functions as well.

A note on (I, J)-e-continuous and (I, J)-e ∗ -continuous functions

open access: yes, 2023
In this paper the notions of I-e-open set and I-e∗-open set are introduced and used to define a large number of modifications of the concept of continuous function, such as (I, J)-e-continuous functions, (I, J)-e∗-continuous functions, contra (I, J)-e ...
