A Space-Efficient Algorithm for Longest Common Almost Increasing Subsequence of Two Sequences

open access: yesLecture Notes in Computer Science
Let $A$ and $B$ be two number sequences of length $n$ and $m$, respectively, where $m\le n$. Given a positive number $δ$, a common almost increasing sequence $s_1\ldots s_k$ is a common subsequence for both $A$ and $B$ such that for all $2\le i\le k$, $s_i+δ> \max_{1\le j < i} s_j$.

A new result on the almost increasing sequences

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we have generalized a known theorem on vertical bar N, p(n)vertical bar(k) summability factors of infinite series to the phi - vertical bar A, p(n)vertical bar(k) summability by using an almost increasing sequence.

An Application of Absolute Matrix Summability using Almost Increasing and delta-quasi-monotone Sequences

open access: yes, 2019
In the present paper, absolute matrix summability of infinite series is studied. A new theorem concerning absolute matrix summability factors, which generalizes a known theorem dealing with absolute Riesz summability factors of infinite series, is proved

open access: yes, 2009
We prove a theorem of Savas and Rhoades on summability factors under weaker conditions by using a quasi-beta-power increasing sequence instead of almost increasing sequence. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd.
