Disentangling Bulk and Surface Contributions to Charge and Discharge Fading in High‐Voltage LiCoO2
High‐voltage operation of LiCoO2 accelerates capacity fading through bulk and surface degradation. By introducing a LiTaO3 coating to selectively suppress surface degradation, bulk and surface contributions to charge and discharge fading are decoupled.

A scalable, solution‐processed WSe2/ZrO2‐x van der Waals heterostructure realizes a light‐induced field‐tunneling synapse (LIFTS) that activates exclusively under bright illumination, emulating the photopic adaptation of the human retina at the device level.

Almost Perfect Sequences and Periodic Complementary Sequence Pairs over the 16-QAM Constellation
SUMMARY Based on quadriphase perfect sequences and their cyclical shift versions, three families of almost perfect 16-QAM sequences are presented. When one of two time shifts chosen equals half a period of quadriphase sequence employed and another is zero, two of the proposed three sequence families possess the property that their out-of-phase ...

On Almost-Periodic Operators in the Spaces of Sequences
Acta Applicandae Mathematica, 2001The author presents some results concerning the norm and the invertibility of the almost-periodic discrete operators of the form \[ (Ax)(n)=\sum_{m\in Z}A(n,m)x(m)\qquad n\in Z \] acting in spaces of sequences with values in a Banach space \(E\). Among the considered spaces of sequences there are the spaces \[ l^p(E)=\left\{ x=\{ x(n)\} _{n\in Z} \Bigl|

Recurrent and almost-periodic sequences
Archiv der Mathematik, 1997A sequence \(g:\mathbb{N}\to\mathbb{C}\) is called almost-periodic if it belongs to the completion \({\mathcal A}^1\) of the \(\mathbb{C}\)-linear space spanned by the sequences \(e_\vartheta\) with \(\vartheta\in\mathbb{R}/ \mathbb{Z}\), where \(e_\vartheta(n) =e^{2\pi i\vartheta n}\) for \(n\in\mathbb{N}\), under the semi-norm \[ |g|_1= \limsup_{x\to\

The authors study the existence and uniqueness of almost periodic solutions for the following discrete Lotka-Volterra competitive system with feedback control \[ \begin{aligned} x_1(n+1) &= x_1(n)\exp\{r_1(n)(1- x_1(n)K^{-1}_1(n)- \mu_2(n)x_2(n)- b_1(n)u_1(n))\},\\ x_2(n+ 1) &= x_2(n)\exp\{r_2(n)(1- x_2(n)K^{-1}_2(n)- \mu_1(n)x_1(n)- b_2(n) u_2(n))\},\\

Empirical determination of the frequencies of an almost periodic sequence
Proceedings of 8th Workshop on Statistical Signal and Array Processing, 2002This note is concerned with the problem of determination of the countable set /spl Lambda/={/spl lambda//sub 1/, /spl lambda//sub 2/, ...} of frequencies belonging to an almost periodic sequence by methods in which a finite number of frequencies {/spl lambda//sub 1//sup (n)/, /spl lambda//sub 2//sup (n)/, ..., L(K/sub n/)/sup (n)/}=/spl Lambda//sub n ...
