Higher order crossings spectral analysis of an almost periodic random sequence in noise

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1989
Summary: Under certain conditions the expected numbers of zero-crossings observed in both a finite section of a process with a mixed spectrum and in finite sections of its filtered versions determine the frequencies in the discrete spectrum regardless of the magnitude of the ``noise'' component.

Balanced Quaternary Sequences Pairs of Odd Period With (Almost) Optimal Autocorrelation and Cross-Correlation

IEEE Communications Letters, 2014
In this letter, two lower bounds on the maximum cross-correlation magnitude of balanced quaternary sequence pairs with (almost) optimal autocorrelation are presented. The maximum cross-correlation magnitude of a balanced quaternary sequence pair of period N with the maximum out-of-phase autocorrelation magnitude √5, where N = 4f + 1 is a prime and f is

Almost split sequences for TrD-periodic modules

1980
In this paper we associate to each TrD-periodic module, over an artin algebra, a diagram and show that the diagram is one of the Dynkin diagrams or one of the Open image in new ...

Asymptotically Almost Periodic Sequence Solutions for a Class of Difference Equations

2012
Differential equations is proposed when people study the variational equation of the orbits in discrete dynamical systems. It has important applications in many areas, including differential equations numerical methods, finite element method, control theory and computer science research.

Periodic Sequences with Maximal Linear Complexity and Almost Maximal k-Error Linear Complexity

2003
C. Ding, W. Shan and G. Xiao conjectured a certain kind of trade-off between the linear complexity and the k-error linear complexity of periodic sequences over a finite field. This conjecture has recently been disproved by the first author, by showing that for infinitely many period lengths N and some values of k both complexities may take very large ...
