Self‐Regulated Learning Meets AI: Reinterpreting Self‐Regulation, Co‐Regulation, and Socially Shared Regulation in Human–AI Interaction

open access: yesNew Directions for Adult and Continuing Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advancing artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed learning and work, yet higher education and professional development programs have not systematically equipped learners for AI‐prevalent environments. This lack of preparation creates uncertainty regarding control, responsibility, trust, and accountability.

Epilepsy‐Associated Variants of a Single SCN1A Codon Exhibit Divergent Functional Properties

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Pathogenic variants in SCN1A, which encodes the voltage‐gated sodium channel NaV1.1, are associated with multiple epilepsy syndromes exhibiting a range of clinical severity. SCN1A variants are reported in different syndromes, including Dravet syndrome, which is associated with loss‐of‐function, whereas neonatal/infantile‐onset ...

Asymptotically almost periodicity of delayed Nicholson-type system involving patch structure

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2020
In this article we study a delayed Nicholson-type system involving patch structure. We apply differential inequality techniques to establish a sufficient condition for the existence of positive asymptotically almost periodic solutions. By constructing

Almost-periodicity in linear topological spaces and applications to abstract differential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1984
Let E be a complete locally convex space (l.c.s.) and f:R→E a continuous function; then f is said to be almost-periodic (a.p.) if, for every neighbourhood (of the origin in E) U, there exists ℓ=ℓ(U)>0 such that every interval [a,a+ℓ] of the real line ...

Added Prognostic Value of EEG Reactivity in Comatose Patients Following Cardiac Arrest

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives To evaluate the added prognostic value of EEG reactivity for favorable outcome compared with background analysis during and after targeted temperature management (TTM). Methods Prospective observational cohort study of comatose post–cardiac arrest patients admitted to a single academic center between 2017 and 2022, all undergoing ...

Structure of Fourier exponents of almost periodic functions and periodicity of almost periodic functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
summary:The paper deals with almost periodic functions which are limits of sequences of continuous periodic functions, and determines the structure of their Fourier exponents and their ranges.

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.
