Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn. Artbeschreibung: Bis 20 m hoher Baum. Rinde zuerst glatt, später zerklüftet, dunkelgrau. Blätter oval oder rundlich, am Grund gestutzt bis keilförmig, vorn stumpf oder ausgerandet, in der Jugend klebrig, später kahl, nur unterseits in den Nervenwinkeln gelbbraun-bärtig, mit 4-7 Paaren von Seitennerven.
