Toward Development of Optimal Alnus glutinosa Symbioses
Botanical Gazette, 1979Field observations and a literature review indicate a broad range of Frankia spp. associations with Alnus glutinosa. A study of three A. glutinosa seedling populations and one of A. rubra inoculated with four different selections of inoculum showed significant host genotype/actinomycete strain interaction.
