Photochemistry and Photobiology, Volume 101, Issue 2, Page 338-349, March/April 2025.In the present work with mouse models, we demonstrate that a novel compound, NEO400, is able to profoundly protect skin against damage caused by UV radiation (UVR) when it is applied to skin post‐UVR exposure. In comparison, Aloe vera or linoleic acid are unable to achieve a similar level of protection.

Karyotypic Variability in Experimental Diploid and Triploid Hybrids of Aloe vera x Aloe saponaria
, 2013 Cytogenetic traits were examined in Aloe saponaria (2S), A. vera (2V and 4V), and the experimental diploid (VS) and triploid (VVS) hybrids. Karyotype 2n 2x 14 (8L 6S) was confirmed in 2S and 2V, whereas 2n 4x 28 (16L 12S) was ascribed to 4V.

PDT effectively generates ROS, reducing tumor growth, cell proliferation and angiogenesis while enhancing survival and immune responses. This perspective article examines the pathophysiology of RISI and evaluates the currently existing and emerging therapeutic strategies, including stem cell‐derived exosomes and advanced hydrogels.
