Tropospheric Atmospheric Heterogeneities of ALOS-2 Interferograms in the Greater Bay Area
L-band advanced land observing satellite-2 (ALOS-2) images are a good source of radar data with better coherence than C-band images. However, significant ionospheric effects are often associated with L-band interferograms. In addition, the tropospheric delay can also be severe in subtropical coastal environments.

This study develops a transferability framework that combines ensemble clustering with hybrid PINN‐GRU models for discharge prediction in ungauged catchments. Using 10 catchment morphometrics, 117 subcatchments were grouped into four clusters, achieving strong within‐cluster transferability.

Nishinoshima is a volcanic island in the Ogasawara Arc that has exhibited intermittent activity since 2013, including four major eruptive episodes: 2013–2015 (Episode 1), 2017 (Episode 2), 2018 (Episode 3), and 2019–2020 (Episode 4). Previous studies reported a change in eruption style—from a Strombolian eruption with lava flows (Episode 1 to the early

Suicide Among Physicians and Medical Students in Bangladesh: Variations in Associated Factors
The statistically significant difference was noted in the reported associated factors of suicide between two groups (p < 0.001). Academic pressure was the leading factor among medical students, around 52.4% of medical students died by suicide due to academic causes. ABSTRACT Background Although health professionals and medical students may be at higher

This study applies queuing theory models (M/M/c/c and M/M/c/K) to optimize inpatient flow and resource allocation in the cardiology department of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, Bangladesh. Using data from 6,277 patients in 2023, it identifies bottlenecks in CCU and PCCU, highlights bed shortages and overcrowding, and proposes reallocating ...

An amphiphilic zwitterion of ZI‐10 is employed as an electrolyte additive to enhance the stability of Zn–Al alloy anodes, thereby constructing a dual‐layered electric double layer through the self‐assembly. The ZI‐10‐induced Al3+ solvation reduces charge transfer barriers, enabling over 2500 h of stable cycling and superior performance in full cells ...

Polarized neutron powder diffraction is used to qualitatively probe the magnetocrystalline anisotropy of cobalt‐doped ferrite nanoparticles. The analysis of local magnetic susceptibility tensors and magnetization ellipsoids reveals how cobalt incorporation modifies both the magnitude and orientation of anisotropy, providing a new approach to compare ...

The Decline of a Caldera‐Filling Glacier at Volcán Sollipulli, Chile
Abstract Southern Andean glaciers have undergone fast retreat in recent decades. This results in reduced freshwater storage, contribution to sea‐level rise, and locally to the formation of glacial lakes, that may pose the risk of glacial lake outburst floods (GLOFs).
