Infrared Irradiation‐Assisted Sonogashira Cross‐Coupling Reaction
ChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 17, 14 September 2026.The Pd‐catalyzed Sonogashira cross‐coupling was developed under sustainable conditions using IR irradiation in water and a recyclable Pd/C catalyst. The protocol promotes efficient C(sp2)─C(sp) bond formation under mild conditions with low Pd loading (1 mol%), providing good to excellent yields for various aryl iodides and terminal alkynes.
