A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

The Impact of Replacing Synchronous Generators with Renewable-Energy Technologies on the Transient Stability of the Mangystau Power System: An Introduction to Flexible Automatic Dosage of Exposures

open access: yesEnergies
Since the creation of the first parallel electrical power systems around the world, the rotor angle stability of synchronously operating generators has been one of the most crucial and challenging problems.

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES: ELECTRIC CURRENT FROM LIVING PLANTS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Today we would venture to say that the global changes of the twenty-first century evoke the need for alternative, environmentally friendly energy sources. From ancient times people used the energy of the sun, water and wind. At present, supporters of

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Integrated Alternative Source of Energy System with Grid Substation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper discusses the modeling, simulation and optimization of integrated alternative source of energy system with grid substation. When there is a lack of energy in grid substation to meet the demand of customer load then alternative source of energy

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Healthy lifestyle and alternative sources of energy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
It is well known that the health of the nation is one of the most important indicators of its well-being. Nevertheless, despite the fact that a great number of lectures about the dangers of detrimental habits such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, etc. are
