Amphimela raydahensis sp. nov. is described from Garf Raydah Nature Reserve (Abha, Asir Province), southwestern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This species was collected using black light traps at different elevations dominated by cacti and wild olive trees. This is the first confirmed species of Amphimela known from the Arabian Peninsula.

Evoluce a biogeografie dřepčíků (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae: Alticini)
2017Leaf beetles belong to most diverse groups of insects and the biggest diversity inside this group is among flea beetles. This work summarizes existing hypotheses about their relationships with other groups of leaf beetles (especially galerucines) and compares various hypotheses about their phylogenetic position and suprageneric systematics.

Biodiverzita a speciace u mechových dřepčíků (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Alticini)
Abstract. Flightless insects are both a striking evolutionary model, and a source of unknown species diversity challenging to taxonomists. This thesis explores the evolution, biodiversity, and biogeography of moss-inhabiting flea beetles (Alticini) through a multi-scale approach, spanning macroevolutionary relationships, genus-level evolution, species ...openaire +1 more source
