Noble‐Metal‐Free Modified TiO2 Nanotube Arrays (TNTAs) for Efficient Photocatalytic Reduction of CO2 to CO Under Visible Light

open access: yesChemistrySelect, Volume 9, Issue 44, November 25, 2024.
Three noble‐metal‐free materials of graphitic carbon nitrides, metal–organic framework, and reduced graphene oxide were used for modifying pure TiO2 nanotube arrays (TNTAs). The modified TNTAs were tested for photocatalytic CO2 reduction to CO. TNTAs modified with graphitic carbon nitrides displayed the highest results.

Multilevel carbon architecture of subnanoscopic silicon for fast‐charging high‐energy‐density lithium‐ion batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, Volume 6, Issue 4, April 2024.
The C/VGSs@Si–C composite is fabricated by using a multilevel carbon architecture strategy on subnanoscopic Si. The strategy involves a highly developed three‐dimensional conductive and robust network integrating a subnanoscopic C skeleton, VGSs, and a carbon matrix, which enables the use of subnanoscale Si as a high‐energy‐density and fast‐charging ...
