Deformation Behavior of La2O3‐Doped Copper during Equal Channel Angular Pressing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
By additions of strengthening elements and/or structure optimization, the mechanical properties of copper can be increased while keeping favorable electric conductivity. By combining addition of La2O3 and processing by equal channel angular pressing, substructure development is achieved, leading to increase in microhardness to more than double the ...

Achieving superconductivity in infinite-layer nickelate thin films by aluminum sputtering deposition [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The recent discovery of superconductivity in infinite-layer (IL, ABO$_2$) nickelates has opened a new avenue to deepen the understanding of high-temperature superconductivity. However, progress in this field is slowed by significant challenges in material synthesis and the scarcity of research groups capable of producing high quality superconducting ...

Realization of a Contactless Acoustic Levitation Motor via Doublet Mode Control and Autoresonance [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
This paper demonstrates analytically and experimentally an acoustic levitation motor which has the ability to levitate and rotate an object in the air without mechanical contact. To realize such a device two core methods are applied simultaneously; (i) resonance tracking with an Autoresonance feedback loop, (ii) generation of controlled structural ...
