A new scale‐selective measure of curvature for meteorological fields
Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, EarlyView.We introduce a novel diagnostic called curvature using radial variation (CURV) that quantifies the local cyclonic or anticyclonic curvature of mean‐sea‐level pressure or geopotential height gridded fields over selected scales. A depiction of how CURV values relate to differing cyclonic curvature is shown in the figure.

Symbolic Interaction, EarlyView.While identity research has given sustained attention to marginality, intersectionality, and the effects of power on identity, the formal interactional dynamics through which identities are constituted remain limited.
