Electrochemistry and spectroelectrochemistry of iron porphyrins in the presence of nitrite [PDF]
The reaction of nitrite with ferric and ferrous porphyrins was examined using visible, infrared and NMR spectroscopy. Solutions of either ferric or ferrous porphyrin were stable in the presence of nitrite, with only complexation reactions being observed.

The article demonstrates that brine was central for the supply of Ca and B to the studied saline lake. The ion transport occurred probably by thermal springs, while contributions from surface waters cannot be excluded. However, the saturation and syndepositional precipitation of Ca borates were initiated by an arid climate through evaporation, while ...

ABSTRACTMirabegron, a drug for treatment of overactive bladder, has low water solubility and bioavailability. Researchers used quality by design to develop and characterize second‐generation lipid nanocarriers for mirabegron, aiming to provide spatially and temporally sustained drug release. Numerous analytical methodologies for assessing mirabegron in

Electrochemistry and Spectroscopy of Sulfate and Thiosulfate Complexes of Iron Porphyrins [PDF]
The electrochemical and spectroscopic properties of the complex formed by the addition of thiosulfate to ferric porphyrins were examined. The NMR spectrum of the thiosulfate–ferric porphyrin complex was consistent with a high-spin ferric complex, while ...

On the feasibility of N2 fixation via a single-site FeI/FeIV cycle: Spectroscopic studies of FeI(N2)FeI, FeIV=N, and related species [PDF]
The electronic properties of an unusually redox-rich iron system, [PhBPR 3]FeNx (where [PhBPR 3] is [PhB(CH2PR2)3]−), are explored by Mössbauer, EPR, magnetization, and density-functional methods to gain a detailed picture regarding their oxidation ...

Ferrocene and Ferrocenium Modified Clays and Their Styrene and EVA Composites [PDF]
In this work, ferrocene- and ferrocenium-containing salts were employed to modify montmorillonite. X-ray measurements show an increase in the interlayer spacing upon clay modification, which means that the larger and more organophilic cations were ...
