CICLO REPRODUCTIVO Y DINÁMICA FOLICULAR EN GANADO Bos indicus

Flavobacterium oreochromis From Farmed Tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum): Insights Into Genetic, Phenotypic and Pathogenic Diversity

open access: yesJournal of Fish Diseases, Volume 49, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Flavobacterium spp. are the etiological agents of columnaris disease. Although there is evidence that columnaris poses a significant threat to the farming of tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum), there remains a large gap in understanding the genetic and phenotypic diversities of columnaris‐causing bacteria (CCB).

The Franciscana (Pontoporia blainvillei) in the Northern Limit of the FMA II: Strandings and Habitat Use in Ilha Grande Bay

open access: yesMarine Mammal Science, Volume 42, Issue 3, July 2026.
ABSTRACT The presence of the franciscana (Pontoporia blainvillei) at the northern limit of the FMA II was investigated using a range of methods, including monitoring of strandings, boat surveys, and passive acoustic monitoring (PAM). Franciscana strandings were recorded within the distributional gap between Macaé (22°55′ S) and Ilha Grande (23°09′ S ...

Tree stem methane emissions are regulated by site‐level biogeochemistry over species identity in Amazon floodplain forests

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 251, Issue 1, Page 179-190, July 2026.
Summary Tree stems in Amazonian floodplains emit substantial methane (CH4), yet controls on emission variability remain unclear. Emissions span orders of magnitude between várzea (nutrient‐rich) and igapó (nutrient‐poor) forests and among trees, suggesting controls beyond flooding.

RESISTENCIA A Microcyclus ulei (P. Henn.) v. Arx Y DESEMPEÑO DE CLONES PROMISORIOS DE CAUCHO [Hevea brasiliensis (Willd. ex A. Juss.) Müll. Arg.] EN EL SUROCCIDENTE DEL DEPARTAMENTO DEL CAQUETÁ, COLOMBIA

open access: yes, 2012

The Role of Gene Flow in the Diversification of the Monkey Treefrog Complex Across the South American Dry Diagonal

open access: yesZoologica Scripta, Volume 55, Issue 4, Page 568-588, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Understanding Neotropical megadiversity remains challenging due to fundamental taxonomic issues, including identifying and describing cryptic species and their distribution, and the limited knowledge of key factors driving biological diversification. Such challenges are especially prominent in diverse clades with high levels of cryptic species,

Reduced Distinctiveness of Extreme El Niño Teleconnections in Warmer Climates

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 12, 28 June 2026.
Abstract In today's climate, extreme El Niño events (e.g., 1982–1983, 1997–1998) generate stronger and eastward‐shifted teleconnections relative to moderate El Niño and La Niña events, leading to distinct North American impacts such as enhanced rainfall over California and warming over northeastern North America.
