Phosphate/Sulphate Exchange Studies On Amberlite IRA-400

Environmental Technology, 2004
The sorption behaviour of phosphate on strong basic anion exchanger, Amberlite IRA-400 (SO4(2-) form) is studied as a function of pH (3-11) at two different initial concentration ranges (0.161 - 0.807 mmol l(-1), 3.874 - 6.134 mmol l(-1)) at 25 degrees C.

STUDY OF THE SEPARATION PROCESS OF TARTARIC ACID BY ION-EXCHANGE WITH SOLID ANIONITES AMBERLITE IRA-67 AND AMBERLITE IRA-410

Environmental Engineering and Management Journal, 2008
The present work describes an investigation of process of ion-exchange separation of tartaric acid in model systems. These investigations will be used for the separation of tartaric acid from secondary wine products. Their valorisation allows obtaining valuable compounds, as well as decreasing the huge quantities of wastes accumulated at wine making ...

Application of nitroso-R-salt in modification of strongly basic anion-exchangers Amberlite IRA-402 and Amberlite IRA-958

Desalination, 2009
Abstract The batch method was applied in order to determine the influence of phase contact time, solution pH and temperature as well as HCl concentration on nitroso-R-salt (NRS) deposition on the strongly basic anion-exchangers Amberlite IRA-402 and Amberlite IRA-958.

Coating and Blood Compatibility of Amberlite XAD-4

1981
Two different coatings for XAD-4 were investigated. XAD-4 was coated either with cellulose acetate (CA) by the Wurster technique, or with a synthetic polyelectrolyte (PLE) which had anticoagulant activity by adsorption and cross-linking induced by cobalt-60 gamma radiation. With regard to amino acids, short-chain fatty acids, octopamine and bile acids,

Bazı amberlit reçinelerinin adsorpsiyon davranışları

2020
SUMMARY In this work, adsorption behaviours of some organic compounds and metal-amino acid complexes on Amberlite XAD-4, 7 and 8 resins were investigated. The effect of functional groups, hetero atoms, carbon chains and rings on the adsorption extent of these compounds on the resins was researched.

[40] Separation of peptides on amberlite IRC-50

1967
Publisher Summary This chapter describes the method of separation of peptides on ambedite IRC-50. Amberlite IRC-50, a weakly acidic, polycarboxylic acid type of cation-exchange resin, is employed primarily for the fractionation of proteins. It is also useful in the separation of large or highly basic peptides not readily fractionated on other ion ...

Amberlite hemoperfusion in the treatment of acute drug intoxication.

The International journal of artificial organs, 1980
Hemoperfusion is more effective than hemodialysis in clearing drugs from the blood of patients with acute overdose. In addition, the clinical improvement in the depth of coma is dramatic during hemoperfusion. There is normalization of the respiratory and circulatory systems usually within one hour, and response to verbal command within a few hours of ...
