It is shown that the magnitude of the ambiguity function can be easily displayed on a spectrum analyzer. The technique used employs delay lines operating only on the modulation waveform. Examples of measured ambiguity functions are given for FM sine waves. These results are shown to be in agreement with theory.

Frames of cross ambiguity functions
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2000Frames of two-dimensional (2-D) signals arising from frames of signals in one dimension are proposed. Such 2-D frames are obtained by computing the cross ambiguity function between frame elements in one dimension and elements of the corresponding reciprocal frame.
