Semantic Satiation and Lexical Ambiguity Resolution

The American Journal of Psychology, 2001
This study examines the effects of semantic satiation on lexical ambiguity resolution. On a given trial, participants were presented with a word triad. The first word (e.g., HEART) was presented on average 2.5, 12.5, or 22.5 times, and then participants received 2 new words for relatedness judgments.

GPS SINGLE EPOCH AMBIGUITY RESOLUTION

Survey Review, 1995
Abstract An algorithm is presented to determine the GPS phase integer ambiguities, and thus positions, in a single epoch using dual frequency data. This allows instantaneous positioning such that the concepts of cycle slips and loss of lock are removed.

Syntactic Complexity in Ambiguity Resolution

Journal of Memory and Language, 2002
This article presents two self-paced reading experiments which investigate the role of storage costs associated with maintaining incomplete syntactic dependencies in structural ambiguity resolution. We argue that previous work has been equivocal regarding syntactic influences because it has examined ambiguities where there is little or no resource ...

Syntactic Ambiguity Resolution In German

1998
This chapter discusses sentence processing research from differential perspective and from universal perspective. It argues the ways in which the peculiarities of German give the opportunity to provide a new test ground for theories of sentence processing in general.

Ambiguities in Multivariate Curve Resolution

2016
Abstract The presence of ambiguities and unique solutions in multivariate curve resolution (MCR) chemometric methods along with several methods for the estimation of the range or area of feasible solutions (AFS) associated to ambiguous MCR solution is discussed.

Carrier Phase Integer Ambiguity Resolution

2017
Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS ) carrier-phase integer ambiguity resolution is the process of resolving the carrier-phase ambiguities as integers. It is the key to fast and high-precision GNSS parameter estimation and it applies to a great variety of GNSS models that are currently in use in navigation, surveying, geodesy and geophysics.
