Systemic treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

This systematic review and meta‐analysis assessed systemic treatments for cutaneous leishmaniasis across 83 studies and 4603 patients. Treatment efficacies of meglumine antimoniate, miltefosine, azoles, pentamidine, and liposomal amphotericin B varied by region and species. Miltefosine showed consistent evidence across multiple settings.
