Sympathomimetic Amines [PDF]

open access: yesAnaesthesia and Intensive Care, 1980
The autonomic nervous system may play an important role in tissue autoregulation as the neurohumoral transmission process has been shown to constitute the final common pathway by which the effects of many physiological and pharmacological substances are mediated.

Synthesis of Novel IP Agonists via N-Aminoethyl Cyclic Amines Prepared by Decarboxylative Ring-Opening Reactions

open access: yesMolecules, 2012
An efficient synthesis of a highly potent and selective IP (PGI2 receptor) agonist that is not structurally analogous to PGI2 is described. This synthesis is accomplished through the following key steps: Nucleophilic ring-opening of 3-(4-chlorophenyl ...

Palladium-Catalyzed Tandem C(sp3)‑H Insertion Cyclization of 2‑(2-Vinylarene)acetonitriles with Isocyanides to Access Naphthalen-2-amines

open access: yes, 2023
A Pd-catalyzed cyclization reaction of 2-(2-vinylarene)acetonitriles and isocyanides has been documented. Various naphthalen-2-amines were obtained in moderate to good yields under mild conditions.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Catalytic Asymmetric Decarboxylative Mannich Reaction of Malonic Acid Half Esters with Cyclic Aldimines: Access to Chiral β‑Amino Esters and Chroman-4-amines

open access: yes, 2016
An enantioselective decarboxylative Mannich reaction of malonic acid half esters (MAHEs) with cyclic aldimines has been accomplished by employing the copper(I)/(R,R)-Ph-Box complex as chiral catalyst.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Organic and Peptidyl Constituents of Snake Venoms: The Picture Is Vastly More Complex Than We Imagined

open access: yesToxins, 2018
Small metabolites and peptides in 17 snake venoms (Elapidae, Viperinae, and Crotalinae), were quantified using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Each venom contains >900 metabolites and peptides.
