Motif Prediction in Amino Acid Interaction Networks
In this paper we represent a protein as a graph where the vertices are amino acids and the edges are interactions between them. We propose a genetic algorithm of reconstructing the graph of interactions between secondary structure elements which describe the structural motifs. The performance of our algorithms is validated experimentally.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils.
